I find inspiration in all kinds of places. A vacation somewhere, an everyday object, a story in the newspaper, a Sunday drive. And what I have found is that the things I set out to capture with a brush, a pencil, or a pastel stick often take on new shapes, colors, and perspectives from the time I initially imagined them. It's that freedom to interpret the world around me that drives me as an artist.

My current work space is the Sequoia Gallery + Studios in Hillsboro, Oregon.
